Jason Meshekow, Principal and Co-Founder at intouch Insurance

Jason is a Principal and Co-Founder of intouch Insurance Services, a Southern California based independent retail insurance agency. He is currently Co- Chairs the agency’s professional liability department, with an emphasis on Errors and Omissions, Directors and Officers, and Cyber liability. Public and privately held companies throughout the country rely on his expertise in risk management and property casualty insurance to protect their assets. He is a member of the organization Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), and Claims Litigation Management (CLM) and has been a contributor to their annual international conference each year. He also served as the past President for the Insurance Brokers & Agents (IBA) of the San Fernando Valley and was active on the Board from 2001 thru 2011.

Erez Golomb, Principal and Co-Founder at intouch Insurance

Erez is a Principal and Co-Founder of intouch Insurance Services, a Southern California based independent retail insurance agency. He participates in the insurance transaction as a Risk Manager helping businesses and high net worth individuals mitigate their risk exposure to the insurer through a comprehensive and proactive risk management programs. Prior to being a co-founder of intouch Insurance Services, Erez was a Certified Novell Administrators® (CNA), Certified Novell Engineer™ (CNE) and a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) where he designed and implemented heterogeneous computer networks topology, operating systems, and/or protocols along with designing, implementing, and securing the networks infrastructure for many years. Erez specialty is professional liability with an emphasis on Errors and Omissions and Cyber/Data Breach liability.

Marc Voses, Partner at Goldberg Segalla

Marc has devoted his entire career to representing domestic and international insurers and reinsurers in connection with coverage and liability issues. He handles disputes arising out of professional and management liability policies. Marc litigates complex coverage issues dealing with commercial general liability, cyber, data and privacy and environmental policies. He also advises clients concerning bad faith and extracontractual claims.

Marc has extensive litigation experience having represented insurers and their insureds at trial and on appeal in courts across the country. Marc is frequently called upon to represent insurers, managing general agents/underwriters and third-party administrators in commercial disputes. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. as well as domestic and international arbitrations, including Bermuda Form.

In addition to coverage and liability matters, Marc has represented insurers, reinsurers, insureds and other insurance industry participants in hearings and regulatory investigations before the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Offices of the Attorney General, the New York District Attorney’s Office and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Marc has held both associate and partner positions in the New York offices of two Am Law 100 firms.

Kenneth May, CEO at Swift Chip, Inc.

Ken May is the CEO of Swift Chip, Inc. Michael Paul, COO at Swift Chip, Inc.

Michael Paul is the COO and co-owner of Swift Chip, Inc. Prior to joining Swift Chip, he worked as a licensed Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual, where he worked with people to make their financial dreams a reality. John B. Furay V, Senior Special Agent, United States Secret Service

John is a Senior Special Agent with the United States Secret Service and its Electronic Crimes and Computer Forensics Program. He possesses the following degrees:

  • Published Dissertation entitled - Multi-Jurisdictional Task Forcing by Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement Agencies in Response to a Domestic Terrorist Incident.

He is assigned to the United States Secret Service, Los Angeles Field Office, and is detailed to the Beverly Hills Police Department’s West Side High Tech Crimes Task Force. He serves in the Service’s Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program – Computer Forensics in the disciplines of Computer Forensics, Apple Computer Forensics, and Mobile Device Forensics. He is also a Senior Special Agent in the Secret Service’s Network Intrusion Forensic Evaluation Program and its Critical Systems Protection Program.

Alex Humphrey, Sr. Security Consultant at Critical Start

Alex Humphrey is a passionate cyber security author and speaker who serves as the Senior Security Consultant at CriticalSTART. He works with organizations globally to build security into their endpoint, server, and cloud environments. Alex holds numerous security and cloud certifications including the AWS Certified Security Specialty. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Jodi Beaubien, Senior Crisis Communication Executive, Data Breach at Symantec

Drawing on her robust experience at the intersection of crisis communication, mobile technology, and user experience, Jodi Beaubien helps organizations implement solutions that drive better outcomes when responding to a critical event. She has worked during catastrophic and high intensity events such as the City of New York during 9/11. Currently, at Symantec, Jodi helps support partnerships in the Cyber Insurance community, with a focus on panel relationships and communication. Joining in January of 2019, Jodi's position was created to coincide with the launch of Symantec's new breach response innovation, designed to address the seismic shift in consumer attitudes towards privacy. Leveraging a modern, mobile-first approach to crisis communication, Jodi aims to deliver carrier-specific solutions designed to evolve with the industry, not behind it. Jodi has studied Communications, Organizational Management and Project Management at the Graduate level. She holds a globally recognized certification in Human Resource Management. She resides in Austin, Texas where she volunteers at two inner city schools and is a member on the city urban planning committee.

In 2009 and 2010, Alex was twice honored by the SBCA for his outstanding leadership, dedication and achievement on behalf of America's small businesses for obtaining needed legislative relief from disproportionate IRS penalties that was part of the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010.

Alex has lectured and written articles on ERISA including, fiduciary obligations and liability, IRS and DOL controversies, Union Plan Withdrawal Liability, defined benefit pension plan over and under funding employer liability and illiquid retirement plan and IRA investments, among many other ERISA legal issues and matters.

Liz Limjuco, Senior Vice President at Marsh

Liz Limjuco is a senior cyber risk advisor of the Cyber Center of Excellence within Marsh’s Financial and Professional specialty practice. She primarily advises clients on complex cyber and commercial E&O risk and insurance, including risk identification, quantification, and management, along with customized program design. Liz works closely and in partnership with key market decision makers in devising optimal risk transfer programs for Marsh clients. Liz also serves as project manager for Cyber Catalyst by Marsh. Cyber Catalyst was created by Marsh to help organizations make more informed cybersecurity choices. Liz has worked with leading insurers to identify cybersecurity solution they view as effective in reducing cyber risk.

James Salin, Vice President at Citizens Business Bank

James Salin has had more than a 40 year career in banking which incorporating an extensive background in lending/credit approval, operations, cash management services with particular emphasis on resolving customer expectations and financial needs.  He participated in the premier lending training program at Union Bank and went on to expand his career at four different financial institutions dedicated to business banking and entrepreneurial finance.  He held positions of management responsibility, credit and loan approval, marketing responsibilities, and supervision of various types of lending and marketing groups.  The majority of his career was spent with smaller community banks rather than money center financial institutions.  He is very customer oriented and focused on solving customer problems in assisting clients in meeting their growth expectations and profitability standards.

Annette Medina, Director of Professional Services at TriNet

Annette Medina, Director of Professional Services for the Western Region. Annette has an MBA, a BA in Business and currently on Hiatus from PhD Program at Claremont’s Drucker School of Management.

She has more than 16 years of Sr Executive Experience as a former Vice President in the Desert Southwest at both a Fortune 500 Company, as well Vice President in a private firm in Southern California, Arizona. Craig Macfarlane, Sales Consultant at TriNet

Craig Macfarlane is a  based out of Los Angeles for TriNet. Craig has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. Craig 15 has more than 15 years of business experience beginning as a top performing Private Banker for Wells Fargo where he successfully cared for his affluent clients and business owners in all aspects of their financial health. David Cogan, Managing Director at Sapient Investigations, Inc.

David Cogan, a certified fraud examiner (CFE) and licensed private investigator in California, is a co-founder and Managing Director of Sapient Investigations, Inc., a Santa Monica, California-based risk consulting firm. Cogan specializes in business intelligence, fraud investigations, asset searches, and business dispute and litigation support investigations.

From 2003 until 2009, Cogan was Director of Investigations in the Los Angeles office of Kroll, Inc. As a senior West Coast case manager, Cogan handled a wide range of complex business intelligence, internal fraud investigations, litigation support and due diligence investigations on behalf of law firms and corporate clients.

Harriet Bateman, ACA, Manager, Global Forensics at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP

Harriet Bateman is an experienced forensic accountant and has focused her career on calculating and quantifying losses for insurance and legal professionals. Harriet has experience working with a variety of industries to measure physical and non-physical business interruption losses resulting from property events or cyber-attacks.

In more recent years, Harriet has focused on the valuation ofbusiness income losses arising from cyber-attacks across different types of insurance policies. Mark Vella, Vice President at Argo Cyber

Mark Vella is currently Vice President at Argo Cyber where he leads the West in developing a cyber insurance book of business for the firm.  Mark has been in the insurance business for 28 years advising brokers and clients in various insurance products.  Since 1998, Mark has focused his underwriting and client advisory work in the areas of media liability, technology errors & omissions, cyber liability and professional liability.  Working with brokers and clients, Mark has served a pivotal role in helping clients navigate the complexities of this space, helping businesses master the art of cyber resiliency in order to avoid costly regulatory penalties, reputation damage and financial hardship.   Mark provides great insight into data collection issues for clients as a good standing member of Rutgers Big Data Advisory Board.

Brian Conlin, Head of Cyber and E&O Claims at Starr Companies

Brian Conlin is the Head of Cyber and E&O Claims at Starr Companies.  Before joining Starr in 2016, Brian managed different claims groups within Financial Lines at a global insurance company.  Brian is a graduate of Rutgers Law School and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP US).

Charles Balot, Founder and CEO at Online Security

Charles Balot is the founder and CEO of Online Security. Mr. Balot is a Litigation Support Consultant and Expert Witness with over 17 years of experience in the areas of computer forensics, electronic discovery consulting, third party neutral e-discovery services and cyber investigations.

Landon Ragnar Paulsonm Commercial Insurance Broker at Burns & Wilcox Brokerage

Landon Ragnar Paulson, CIC has been focused on commercial insurance in its many forms for over 5 years now, starting his career at Philadelphia insurance, where he was quickly licensed and pursued his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor designation) Where he learned invaluable carrier and marketing experience. This was helpful in transferring into a retail production role at Bolton & Co in Pasadena, CA. After moving back to his hometown of Sacramento and knowing the value of a strong wholesale relationship in the retail production role, Landon joined Burns & Wilcox Brokerage, and assists with hard-to-place General Liability/Property and Excess submissions for many agencies and clients across the country.

Mickey Estey, Senior Vice President at RT ProExec

Tim Nunziata, Director & Division Head of Commercial E&O / Cyber at Nationwide Insurance

Timothy Nunziata is Associate Vice President and Division Head of Nationwide Management Liability & Specialty’s Cyber Risk and Commercial E&O Department. In this role Tim is responsible for managing a book for new and renewal business, developing strategy to grow and diversify the product portfolio, and foster new and existing broker and client relationships. Tim has been with Nationwide for 10 years in a variety of roles; prior to his current position, Tim managed a team of Commercial Directors & Officers Underwriters responsible for large public company business. This role included traditional D&O, Employment Practices and Fiduciary Liability placement throughout the country.  

Tim began his career at Hartford Financial Products as a large company Commercial D&O underwriter.  After a brief stint at Navigators Insurance Company, Tim joined Nationwide in 2009. Tim is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Tim lives in norther New Jersey with his wife and two young daughters.

Jonathan Tock, Director, Security Operations at SpearTip

In his role at SpearTip, Jonathan is laser-focused on stopping cybercrime and responding to cyberthreats around the globe. Jonathan’s team of cyber counterintelligence operatives monitor thousands of endpoints worldwide from SpearTip’s state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC). Among his many duties, Jonathan oversees all operations functions, while also employing cutting edge and emerging technologies, detailed technical research and every available resource to identify and stop emerging threats. A natural-born teacher, Jonathan has become a popular university guest lecturer and panelist.
